We are pleased to share an email and attachment from City Councilmember David Ryu. In it he opposes the Millennium Hollywood Center Project. We applaud him for that.

Ryu notes the California Geological Survey report that is highly critical of the Draft EIR. He also demands answers about how LA Building & Safety, and Planning, could accept the developer’s paid for studies over the conclusions of two independent governmental agencies, the U.S. Geological Survey and the California Geological Survey.
We’ve been asking the same questions. The FBI should be asking them, too.
But we look to Councilmember Ryu to be even firmer and louder in demanding a full, fair and transparent process. Ryu is only one of the 15 City Councilmembers. We are still a long way from getting truth and justice to prevail.
The City plans to grant initial approvals for the project at a hearing this Wednesday, August 26, 2020. We need your involvement now more than ever. Please donate to help our efforts for you.
We must shed light on Mayor Garcetti and Councilman Mitch O’Farrell’s betrayals of the community in their support for this developer’s dangerous and illegal project.
As Supreme Court Justice Lewis Brandeis observed: “Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants; electric light the most efficient policeman.”
Help us light the way. Thank you.
