In a recent STMH Post we dared to ask the question if City Officials intended to drive over the cliff with Millennium Partners.    It looks as though we have our answer.

It was only two weeks ago when the California Geological Survey submitted their comments to the City informing them that their combined data indicate that more than one near-surface fault trace of the Hollywood Fault crosses the proposed project site.   That Millennium’s own studies from 2014 did not clear the entire site of active faults.  That new information, including from the federal government’s United States Geological Survey, needed to be included in the EIR due to the project’s risk to public safety.   This went ignored.

In September of 2018 CGS wrote the city with two pages of specific information they recommended be included in Millennium’s EIR.  This too, went ignored.

This is the first public hearing on the Millennium Hollywood Center Project and your opportunity to participate.

Your neighborhood communities have had a lot to say on the insanity of Millennium’s proposal.   Check out this Post to see some of the public comments made.

Your donations are very much appreciated.   STMH can’t fight this battle without you.
